They watched the Indians hunt for their food. Watched them dance their magical dances. The trees watched as we stole the land from the Indians. Trees saw the tragic wars and many
deaths of men, women and children.
They feel children climb them, welcoming them with strong arms. They hold tight as children build tree houses. Trees hear the children’s own stories of adventure and ghostly
Trees Keep watch on the lives that inhabit them; squirrels and birds think their shoulders are good homes. Some even carve into the sheltering body for its warmth.
Trees spread their gifts of life through out the world. But humans take the gifts for granted and slaughter them to build huge homes and cities. Many losing their lives and the life it
bring those who live under the comfort of a tree – The trees cry.
As A phoenix, trees shed their feathers for rebirth. The trees seem dormant when bare, but they breathe. Trees dance when the wind blows the long branches. Each curve twists as the
grooves become more defined. They seem haunted and unapproachable. If you approach a tree it will speak in whispers. You must put your ear up to hear.
Inside trees you will find many circles; history’s timeline in the making. The core will tell you what they hold in their hearts. It is the core of every living thing that is
inside of us all.
