Lipstick strikes my love heavy cheek

I savour the sweet lingering kiss

As she slowly pulls away

A glue of resistance delays her

Her hand remains on my neck

Our eyes explore the pain of departure

Silence captures all our words

Prisoners we willingly surrender

Her left eye waives a single tear

It's journey of sadness begins

Words of goodbye

Vandalise the night air

The etchings of my future

Reveal a rainbow free 14 days

Her long awaited return

Promises a spectrum sprayed ever after
