Her accusations stem from

a jealousy I can not control

Shade from her insecurities

darken her bruised soul

I wish I could use words

find a cure to quote

A Soothing verse

from my inadequate throat

Alas I know

she will just misunderstand

Strike my face

with her hurtful hand

I must accept the brunt

of her confused mind

Find comfort knowing

deep down she is kind

I kiss her cheek

stroke her long blonde hair

Loving movements

to show that I care

I know for her to be happy

we must part

Walk away with a piece of her

forever in my heart
