A queue in the store grinds to a halt

Bar code technology again at fault

Drunk in his car, thinks it's a laugh

His ignorance and car violate your path

An elderly woman under four feet tall

Uses you as support so she won't fall

A screaming child demands more attention

Another elderly woman negotiates her pension

Queazy exhaust coughs and moans

Men in yellow jackets and traffic cones

World gone crazy, while god naps

Appointments missed, deadlines collapse

Windows claims every error is unexpected

Dr. Norton diagnosis, a virus was detected

A well developed bruise found on a rose

Out of rhythm elephant dances on your toes

You note the internal pressure, negative stress

Anger buttons pressed, as you survey the mess

Danger levels violently shoot off the chart

Frantically think of ways to control your heart

Breathe slow and count out an easy ten

Slow downthe moment, learn to cope again
