Her name was Grace

her grip was firm

Our confirmed position

was high in the heavens

We watched the developing

patchwork of human invention

Breathed the fumes

of your so called progress

I was sacrificial

a warning to you all

Every broken security camera

failed to capture my fall

Without angelic wing

or nylon of parachute

My race towards the ground

swiftly challenged time

The ensuing thump

shook the very roots of mankind

Bruised the unhealthy skin

worn by humanity

Read the symbolic scripture

decode the lost logogram

Note the subtle bends

through the heat of etymology

Let my fall

not be in vain

Let my fall

become a call for change
