A lake of mercury shallow and still

awaits the falling dice of memory

They tumble from the sky

distorting the reflectiveview below

A tsunami of past

develops upon impact

Each mirrored wave

stretched with emotion

My mind falls damp

dripping with unfeigned images

A statement of axiom

I acknowledge as true
