My heart a slab of vinyl

Pre-recorded beat that seeks your ear

In the shape of a stylus

You rest, seek refuge in my deep groove

Together; the music

Is one of two hearts united

An orchestra of sound

That rattles heaven’s door

Demands attention

From the oceans floor

Plugged jukebox

Our song on repeat

Unfazed by death

Reliant on electricity

Soon they will dance

To the noise we call passion

Seek to pen

Their own lyrics of love

Until the world

Stirs each sleeping soul
