Through gripped clouds
That weren't fluffed yet
Together we wake
Tokyo's red sunset
Spilt wine
Travels a morning breeze
Together we toast
The yawning Japanese
Sushi replaces
The usual corn flakes
... Sake embraces
Milk in our shakes
Remembering karaoke
We want to sing again
We emptied our pockets
Recounted our yen
Our Shibuya trek
Had begun
First in the basket
A rising sun
Shinto whispers
I yearn to learn
Wise paragraph
Promises we shall return
