The gate of temptation,
responds to my furtive push
The opening hinge
vocal in its warnings

Fertile lands of deceit
greet my lust hungry eyes
Narrow, unroofed halls
apportion the male crowds

I sink into the illicit mud,
walking my first tentative steps
The grip is my concious,
mental barb wire snagging my stroll

The red skies of De Wallen
movewith female voice
Framed in neon glow,
her skin weeps sodium

I count the Euro's
her eyes widen with promotion
Her pretty European face blurs,
apprehension wrestles my focus

Guilt is distributed
by a restive heart
Clots of remorse
hinder my flow of thought

Transaction void,
apologies served in Dutch
Her understanding smile
a postcard memory of Amsterdam
