Poem about fascist leaders in formerly democratic countries like Australia and the U.S.A.; who love giving orders for the sake of bullying the majority.

When Leaders break their promises
And all our hopes do sail,
All our dreams go tumbling
As democracy does fail.

They leave us living in the streets
They leave us without hope,
The Leaders see us grovelling
And think it’s such a joke.

When Leaders start a’talking
Of how they will help us all,
Their words do not turn into fact
And all the promises do fall.

Yes when they talk of helping
All their words are only talk,
When it comes to firm action
The Leaders always baulk.

When Leaders see us suffering
They say they’d like to help,
But when it comes to helping
Leaders only help themselves!
