About a week I spent in hospital in late 2007, getting hellishly painful harsh antibiotics pumped into my right arm to cure a major lung infection.

Molten fire
flowing through my veins
Razor blades
slash within my brain,
Burning fire-drops
seep to my fist
Searing up ‘long my arm
from my fire-sown wrist.

Molten agony
the pain flows on again
Lasting for hours
I’d swear I’m half insane,
Agony intensifies
as thru my arm it flows
Till excrutiating agony’s
the only thing I know.

Molten fire burning
from elbow to my wrist
My hand is surely burning
Too sore to form a fist,
Burning agony keeps
climbing to my brain
Burning like my vein’s afaire
until I’m near insane!
