I found her eyes lying pensively on the ground. Her mouth pursed in a whistle sending wisps of her sweet warm breath into my nose. The lulaby within flowing softly out of her body, bouncing silently off the blades of grass and catching in my ears. I was warming instantly to the thought of till-death-do-us-part. Staring at her liquid sugilite eyes. Forgetting there was ever a time that I was without such perfection. Creating new memories that depicted only her and I.

She moved, turning her body completely toward me. The image magical, somewhat like ripples of smoke dancing from between puckered lips. Her eyes thrown upon me, making my heart skip a beat. She spoke musically, " Love, do you still take pleasure in yearning? When I am here for you, tangible as ever." Her face was stern and demanding. And so, devoid of explination, I tossed myself raucously onto the earth beside her bare golden skin. Our breasts pressed lightly together, as she wrapped her silken legs around mine. She twirled a lock of my wild curls around her long fingers and then placed it elegantly behind my ear. She slid her pleasant fingers down my jaw line and to the hollow of my neck, kissing me there. I felt the life from her soul burst into me and a tear escaped my eye.

She laughed beautifully, taking my hand in hers. Squeezing it and then intertwining her fingers in mine. We were a picture of oposition so superbly combined. Her long bronze form, glistening in the sun, against my ashen white figure. She pressed her face to mine, fluttering her long lashes against my tickling cheek. Butterfly kisses.

"Opalyn, where have you gone?," her voice opiatic in my ear. "Will you return, my love..." and indeed I would.

"Forgive me, Dorata. I am..." Shame strangling my voice.

"You are what--you do not have to worry. I just always want to be exactly where you are."

She floated to her feet, extending a hand to me. I was graceless in meeting her height, but she took no notice. She placed her warm palm on the small of my back leading me to the place where the land met water. Swimming. Something that I feared doing in front of Dorata, because much like everything else in my life, I didn't look very appealing while doing it. But I hoped she would not notice that either.

The water was only waist high at its deepest point, but the flow of the stream could carry you away fairly quickly if you didn't plant your feet. Or atleast know how to tread. The water was not to cold either, thanks to the heavy beading of the sun. Dorata waded ripplelessly along the currents. Her skin more dazzling now that she was coated in liquid. She was glowing brightly. Gold bricks. But I would rather my eyes melt then to force my gaze away. My fear transforming into pure pleasure as I watched her hands kiss the surface of the water. Her eyes began searching mine, and without words she called me to join her.

My descent into the brook was rushed and clumsy. I stumbled pushing my hands forward to brace my fall, oblivious to the fact that I was standing in liquid. My face plummeting into the wetness. I drifted a few feet before I could find a foot hold, and when I lifted my head my hair covered my face in a heavy blanket. I tossed the sheet of curls behind myself, the impact stinging my flesh. As I paced back to where her polished body stood, I saw a smile rising in the corners of her mouth.

"Opalyn, you are--"

" I know, I am oafish." My words cutting into hers sourly.

"Not at all, amore. You. Are. Refreshing!" Her smile growing wider.

"Dorata, you are the only refreshing thing here. Even this water in which we stand would not do as much for a parched creature."

She shook her head, her bright rose hair catching in the breeze.

"Opalyn, You are pale satin dancing in the wind. You are so fragile and lovely, so new, you are the most adorned being I have ever laid my hungry eyes upon...and it pains me to know that you do not know these truths as I do."

My body shook, under the power of her words. Her breath showered over me and instantly my frustration dissipated. No one could make me forget my troubles like she could. No one could do anything the way that she could.

"Come here amore.I will show you how to flow with the current, and we will become the rush, together."

She wrapped her arms around my waist and flawlessly she pulled my body down beneath the waves. Her thoughts flowed into me and I held my breath. She pressed her silk lips against mine and shared my breath. She wrapped one warm leg around my waist and slid the other into the bend of my knees. Lifting my feet from the sand floor. Our bodies began to spin and twist in the rush, and a small streak of panic ran through me. But Dorata, pressed her lips harder to mine causing my heart beat to slow. Once my heart was in harmony with hers, the flow of the brook seemed to steady. She released my legs and lay her body against mine. The water no longer pushing us, no longer carrying us but, becoming us as we became each other. Now we were floating into ourselves, nothing else existing, or ever having been in existance. There was no time, no place, nowhere to be, or go. Just the Rush, just us.

When the sun had gone and it was to dark for swimming Dorata created a fire. Gathering the wood and stones with out even looking my way for help. She set the items in there correct order, touched her enkindled fingers to a small twig and for a second the flame glowed a brilliant fuchsia.
