Well I would walk ten thousand miles

Just to hear you call out my name.

And every time I'm lost at sea

You bring me to harbor again.

Your touch, your kiss shapes my bliss

So warm I can stand naked in hurricanes.

If your wings are broken butterfly

How do you take me on your flight?

How are we soaring past the sun and moon

to forget the Earth and all her gloom?

Tell me why butterfly,

It feels so heavy under any sky

When you walk away and say goodbye

I feel colder than an ancient tomb.

You capture precious sunlight

And spill it over me with love.

You've absorbed me in your elegance

And I just can't seem to get enough.

Take my hand again,

We'll have another whirling flight,

My love for you burns so bright

We'll never feel the darkness

Of the night.
