I sometimes wonder

Why you pull me under

And simply leave me to drown.

But then I remember

It was I that surrendered

And I let myself sink deeper down.

I sometimes ponder

What waits for me yonder

As I drift ever farther away.

If its hell I’ll embrace it

If heaven I’ll face it

On my last and final day.
