Oh Eros flying through the sky shooting arrows that make people's hearts burn with love, On the day of love he flies from Olympus shooting arrows as graceful as a skilled archer, Son of night he who brought love when there was only chaos in the world, Lover of psyche who was more beautiful than Aphrodite herself, He who is worshipped on the day of love and brother of anteros who is an avenger of requited love, He who lives in men's hearts but where there is hardness he departs, He may be evil but honey sweet his words, For there is no truth in him the rogue
