How once I had been to love, and how we had enjoyed. How she left me, and now I am sad.

Contains a lot of hidden meanings, LOL.

I have been to love once before,
It is like a sip of wine;
I have longed for it once afore,
But never since that time.

Came to me as a breath
Of fresh air, from a wreath
Of dandelions and gossamers,
Laden with despairs.

Gone it has since, to abodes unknown,
And not again have I
Tried to win her back again,
With a broken heart now I cry.
