As she lays there with another guy she doesn't know,
She watches her dreams collapse with her tears as they splash.
Dreams of being a doctor,lawyer,teacher,
Instead of a girl with no future,
She was always an honor roll student,
Where had that gone now?
No father,no mother,2 brothers,one daughter.
No time for school,
She had to keep food in her stomach, and Similac in the baby's bottle.
She always wanted to model and show off her body,
And she never would have thought she would be able to sell her body,
Especially not in this business,
Her runway was now the corner of the dirtiest nocturnal streets in the Valley,
She would model a fake Gucci bag and some fake Gucci heels,
Phony Versace outfit to keep her sex appeal,
She was tired of it all and wanted to change her ways.
She got up from the bed,put her clothes on,and ran.
She hugged her fatherless daughter,
Quit the modeling business and decided to tell her story.
A 22-year old survivor.
Now if she needs to see her idol she just looks in the mirror.
She made mistakes. She is a human. She is a woman.
