Do we ever get over those special girls?
the best ones to have but the hardest to get over
falling on her shoulders, beautiful brown curls
once upon a time she curled it just for me
my eyes lit up as I gazed upon a beauty

now my eyes grow dim as I see the mirrors
looking back is a broken beast without beauty
many beasts have shed countless cold tears
for that beauty that entered their hearts
the tiny things set you off, flowing are rivers of tears

what you would give to make her again smile
that cheesy grin on her lovely shinning face
now the thought brings to your throat, bile
though you love her, missing beauty makes you sick
you know the beast is always broken

always loving but still so full of hate
you can be a prince when you choose to be
but you always turn back as of late
stuck as the beast, your worst nightmare
loving her was all you had

but beauty is gone forever

and the beast is here to stay
forever inside your heart
forever near
