The Wishing Well
Look down toward the water
Look to the depths of it's soul
See throught the murky waters
And speak your wish.
Do you see a loved one?
Do you see fame?
Do you see happiness?
Or is what you see pain?
The Wishing Well isn't a well of granted wishes
It tells straight and ture
It knows what lurks in your soul
And only speaks the truth.
So if you see darkness, that is your pain
If you see light, that is your happiness
If you see a dove, that is your fame.
And if you see a blooming flower, that is your loved one.
But I speak the truth when I say
I have only seen one of the four
I have seen darkness
And that darkness won't go
The Wishing Well speaks the truth
So please take a look
Maybe you can find something different
Something worth wishing for.
