Loser in Life

Nothing to see

Nothing done

Nothing left

Where have I been?

What have I seen?

Where do I stand?

All and nothing

Nothing left

But all my dreams

My faith

Is on the floor

My poor, poor faith

And my hopes?

I caress them in my hand

Though they have died

My dreams

Are the only things left

They still haunt me in the night

Insomnia

Is my constant companion

In my lonely silence

Everything

I used to hold on to

Has vanished

Even he

My lifeline

Has been buried

As I sit on the cold hard pavement

Waiting for this storm to pass

Failure holds my hand

This poem is dedicated to Lionheart,

who would kill me to death if I didn’t

write another poem
