I listen to men sing songs, late at night.
I hear sadness in their voices.
Me? I have no songs to sing, I've forgotten the words,
forgotten what they mean.
All i have is poetry, and shattered dreams.
No songs of inspiration,
I tried to love with a heart so green.
Playing a game without rules,
living in a caged world, my enemy rules.
Men sing songs, late at night,
singing their sadness.
All i can do is write poetry the world will never see.
I am a man the world may never see.
Forced to be someone other then me,
forced not to cry, not to need, not to love, not to bleed.
Emotions!! I can not sing, painful words.
I have no voice, without this ink,
no life without this pen, in this world of forgotten men,
who sing, they sing, PLEASE SING!!!
Your voices are my tears, your pain is what i fear.
I cannot show my own, so i listen to you,
and write this poetry alone...........
