Hands as soft as steel,
Eyes as light as stone,
Chilling my heart to the core.
When she walks past she is broken,
But the breaks only make her stronger,
Her courage as mighty as a mountian,
Her wit as bright as the stars,
Free-willed and headstrong,
Dreams spread out in layers,
Dreams of a better life,
A life without fire.
She lives in wonder,
As fate entwines us as one,
Fate that binds us all,
To her heart of gold,
Deepened with regrets,
Regrets that threaten us all,
As she shifts through grains of time,
and walks a path of destiny,
This girl who seems so small...
