Stepping through the snow,
Watching crystalline sculptures
Hanging overhead,
Icy webs around the limbs,
As I step through the snow,
Watching the stars on a perfect Winter night,
Stepping through the rain,
Watching blossoms bloom,
Drying leaves soar to life,
On a rainy Spring day,
Stepping through the sun,
Seeing bare feet pad across the sand,
And hearing waves greet the shore,
On a sunny Summer day,
Stepping through the wind,
Watching leaves kiss the ground,
And colors fading in the cold,
Seeing children walk slowly back to school,
On a windy Autumn day,
As I sit watching life drift past.
