Death and Blood,

Upon the ground,

Riddeled with holes

Left upon the ground

without even a prayer muttered for them,

Corpses that leave in cloth of Red, White and Blue,

Death is glory to some back home,

An escape from pain,

Death causes grief for those left behind,

Those who live on to see their brothers in green

Lowered into the ground,

Cloaked in Red, White and Blue,

Left under a nameless stone,

As a numbered corpse,

Forgotten with time,

Unsung heroes of yesterday,

Who fought and died for a country

Who doesnt care or 'doesnt know',

They leave as children,

With high hopes of becoming men,

They return a corpse of some unknown and forgotten

boy dressed in green,

Our unsung hero of yesterday,

All forgotten in time,

Left under a nameless stone

Upon a forgein field far from home,

Our unsung heroes of yesterday,

Buried under a bloodstained cloth of Red, White and Blue.
