You say I don't understand,
that I don't know,
I'm too young to have seen what you have,
Too young to know what life is,
but listen to me for a minute

I've seen lives end and lives begin,
I've tasted the horrid bite of blood on my lips,
I've seen bruises to big to be accidents,
I've seen friendships become more,
and I've seen a friend die by his own hands,
a parents life over in minutes,

I may be too young in your eyes,
too young to understand,
too young to know what life is,
but hear this,
I know about life
and I know about death,
what I dont know is why,
why do I have to know?
why me?
or am I to young to know this too?
