We were once in the Garden of Eden. We had all we could ever want or imagine to have. There was only one condition to live this abundant and happy life. That was to live within the parameters of God's will.

We might have had it all
Butwe blew it
All those blessings and
We just stood in the way
We might have had it all
But in our arrogance
Paid no mind to what
Our spirits had to say
We could've had the world
The world we wanted
A world where God and
His direction took the lead
We could have had his favor
And so much grace
And know that He
Would satisfy our every need
We could've had it all
In the beginning
But instead of God's will
We went with our own
We had the seeds of allhis
Promises within our grasp
But only seeds outside
His will were grown

We were once in the Garden of Eden.We had all we could ever want or imagine to have. There was only one condition to live this abundant and happy life. That was to live within the parameters of God's will.In hindsight, it seems like not too much to ask.The lesson is there to learn, for anyone who cares to read Genesis. Why is it then, that we still struggle today;even knowingly, resist, to live within these same parameters? The same scenario brings forth, the same results. We lose all that we could have, whenever we operate outside of His will.Think about it.
