Okay children gather around. Get ready for a story that is sure to astound.

Back before the dinosaurs were even a thought, there was nothing but forest believe it or not.

The forest was the home of the unicorns you see. This is the truth take it from me.

The unicorns came in any color you can think. For example blue, black, orange, and don’t forget pink!

They had long sharp horns that matched the color of their coat, well except for the one which was as strange as seeing metal float.

What adorned this unicorn was in fact its sparkly and glaring crystal horn.

This unicorn was one of a kind, no other creature had this feature.

Despite its unusual horn the other unicorns were still its friend.

In this forest was love and friendship that would never amend.

But no place can be completely perfect you see, this is the truth take it from me.

Although there was happiness and although there was love there was one thing missing from above.

You see the only thing around to light the earth was the sun. Now this was great until night would come.

The unicorns were supposed to be home by night because there was nothing to provide light.

I mean there was the moon, but its light wasn’t strong enough to shine through the trees which left the unicorns need for light feel unappeased.

Then one day two baby unicorns were playing around, running from here to there hooves pounding the ground.

After a while they got weary. A nap will help that was their theory.

So, they found a nice big tree, and begin to rest so once again energized is what they could be.

When they awoke the sun was setting, nearly night the baby unicorns dashed home as fast as their hooves were letting.

But the baby unicorns weren’t so fast. The sun set and they were left in the dark feeling scared and tried not to split apart.

They couldn’t even make out a tree trunk, being lost in the dark really stunk.

They began to cry for help knowing someone finding them would be impossible, but their cry reached an ear that made finding them possible.

Then in the distance they saw a white dot, which began to get bigger and scared the babies a lot.

In no time the dot had reached them, but in fact it was more that had come.

It was the Unicorn with the crystal horn.

The horn shinned light that’s power resembled the suns. Everything was visible now, and the baby unicorns could only think “wow”.

The unicorn with the crystal horn lead the babies back home, but this wasn’t the end of its good deeds. For it knew about other needs.

The crystal horned unicorn raced through the forest till it ran up the highest cliff bursting from the trees. Seeing the moon made its mind feel at ease.

If only the moon had some help, then light could shine through the trees without doubt.

This was what the unicorn thought, then boom and idea came to mind. Yes an idea is what it needed to find.

The unicorn backed up with its horn shinning bright. It found out how to create more light.

Then full speed the Unicorn ran. Knowing this was an unfailing plan.

When it reached the end of the cliff it jumped higher then anything before, gliding through the air feeling galore.

It lit up the sky and the forest underneath.

Then boom the unicorn hit the sky and its horn shattered into a zillion pieces.

Don’t worry the Unicorn remained unharmed when it landed on the ground stunned by what it found.

Yes the unicorn lost its horn, but it could careless for its horn had shattered and pieces scattered and stuck to the sky.

As the unicorn stared at the night sky the others joined and light twinkled in their eye.

The pieces of the crystal horn had become what we call stars.
