Fire- Storm.

( One year-anniversary -of tragic Black Saturday fires in Victoria.Australia.)

Blue replaced

Sky by orange mask displayed,

In days of hot despair

Flames of red, orange, yellow, blue

Glowed, danced in the gale force winds,

White glow of fire showed it's face.

Trees a silent sentinel of charged black butts, logs

Tops alight, swayed in life's tragic dance.

Storm of fire, wind, heat

Bright light,

Sound of life's flight, fight to survive.

Fingers of flames,

Ran the marathon, race,

Overtaking running, fleeing feet in space,

Flames were winners of this tragic race.

Cinders exploded fireworks

Glowing red, yellow, hot,

Flying in space.

Dark grey, white chokeing heavy smoke,

A canopy formed.

Water, steam, flames, heat,

Mingled, in streams of fear,

Tears of suffering, pain

Fire- storm

You won this tragic race.
