What is the purpose of the heart?

To keep me well and alive

But what will happen

When it tears me apart inside?

What is the purpose of the lungs?

To bring air in and let it leave

But it's hard to do

When you're the air I breathe.

What is the purpose of the stomach?

To accept drinks and something hot

But you have a tendency

To tie it in knots.

What is the purpose of the eyes?

To see the world from end to end

But I couldn't ever see it all

Cause toward you they will always bend.

What is the purpose of the lips?

To express my feelings and what I miss

And apparently it is so

The purpose is not to accept your kiss.
