This was once a dream I had- perhaps more of a nightmare. I never knew who the person on the ledge was, but I wish I did.

\"Don't. Just please, step away from the edge. What do you want to prove? Is this really what you want? Really!!? Do it, then. Just go! Why am I trying to help you? Just do it.\"

Annie's eyes were closed and her arms widely spread- as to preparing to embrace a powerful force against her already shattered body. She was not scared. There appeared to be an eerie determination about her. I saw her taking calm breaths; just inhaling peacefully, and exhaling what I thought were all her troubles out of her body. The day was warm but the cool breeze made me shiver a bit. Or might it be the nerve wrecking situation I found myself in?

Annie simply listened as I pleaded to stop her malevolent actions. Were her thoughts as scattered as mine? Was she even thinking? She got closer to the edge. I never moved. Why couldn't I move? I cried and pleaded, but my body felt stiff and heavy.

Annie stood at the edge. \"Just do it, then!\" Why did I say that!? Annie turned to me. Smiled; Then faced away.

I face too. The day is beautiful. The sun is beaming, birds are chirping, and I can see the most amazing view you can think of. Trees. Green surrounded a beautiful cliff in front of us. Then the cool breeze touches my back. My body was still heavy. I cried.
