As the midnight dawn is breaking,

and the sun's light fades away,

thats when I'm finally waking,

with  the dreams of yeesterday.

For the me I was the day before

I'm no longer the one you've seen

Of this fact I am sure

for I'm not the one I've been.

For as the wind blows

and the seasons change

the river flows

and I'm not the same.

For years go by,

and this I know,

and like the sky

my change is slow.

No longer the one I was the day before

or even yesterday

For I'm always changing even more

and I accept what comes my way.

Im still me

the me of today.

But realize I'm not the me

of yesterday.
