I stand on as an autumn’s twilight begins. The ashend clouds blocks out the death and suffering from the reality of life. I stand on in the middle of a saddend woods. The trees orange, red, and yellow brings around a peaceful otherworldly feeling. I cannot see the ground for it is covered in the leaves of this darkened paradise. Just like the ground, the leaves cover what I truly feel. No longer in touch with reality, I can feel my soul crack and splinter. The wind cool and crisp whips across my shoulder comforting me from the judgment of others. The sound of the wind blowing through the tree tops puts me in a trance that drops me to my knees crying. In the middle of these saddened woods, I stand on numb, peaceful, and comforted. As my soul finally shatters into a million heart broken peaces I sit upon a dead tree and let emptiness fill my heart.
