poverty her speed like that of a rushing bullet piercing deep into the heart of man her pain as a product of an injury that only money can cure the poor man is her husband and only he truly knows the bitter taste of her soup she conceives sorrow, pain and hunger her kids grow as time goes her venom as poisonous as a snake her effect adverse her impact diverse she is more deadly than aids Africa is her best friend poverty why pick who to fall on why that little boy on the streets some say life is beautiful, can the same be said by that little boy? no and why is that? because his home is under the bridge, his bed is laid with coal tar and the stone is his pillow his only visitors are mosquitoes to that little boy life would have been beautiful only if he could go to bed and wake up with breakfast ready,if he could go to school with a launch box and some pocket money,if he could wear fancy cloths and some nice shoes perhaps he would have said life is beautiful but she didn't give him a chance she rather snatched that opportunity from him even at his birth
