“Rain against my window”

I lovingly look outside the shielded glass,

The droplets of exquisite mass,

Makes it way out of the dark clouded sky,

It’s like a heroin high,

The rain is as delicate as steel,

I reach out to feel its strength,

But the shield blocks my length,

The mist that sips from the edges,

Engulfs my lungs,

I can’t run, nor escape,

But I feel at stake, it is no mistake,

The rain is my friend,

We both blend together the same.
