The poem has an old lady dying while thinking about few of her special memories

Still remember my sweet sixteen

It was a year after I was fifteen

It’s been seventy two years now

Really wanna turn back, but how?

The sparkles of my wedding dress still flash by my eyes

It was the day I learned how two people ties.

Walking down the red carpet, I left my old life alone

Didn’t knew then, that my life is about to be in a cyclone.

I lost my husband two years later

And a beautiful child too, given by my creator.

But still never wondered why it all happened

Accepted it as destiny instead of being frightened

I am now eighty eight years old

Turning back in time, I turn so cold.

The time has come now, for my last breath

Loosing heartbeats in me, I know I have few seconds remaining, till my death.

Lucy Lucy

Hi, I am glad to put the first comment here. Well whatever you have written is good. But I think you can write more about old days. I mean there are so many memories contained in the life of a woman. Well maybe, you concentrated only on her husband and the baby.... But I still feel you could have written more. Please dont feel bad, I have given my honest opinion. Maybe you can clarify if I am wrong about it.
