Superimposed

The thunder’s not there

And neither’s the lightning

Then why bother mentioning either of them

But still

As the sky, in the darkest of darkness

In the densest of denseness

In the cloudiest crowd of gathering clouds

There’s a parting provided for a superimposing

A superintending

The Supreme Being

Look at that

I’m inspired to believe

To strive to achieve

A grander understanding of

What he is up to and why it is

That

The finger is stuck through the parting in the wall

And the finger is pinching the bull in his eye

Tickling me, tickling me, feels unfamiliar

But strangely proverbial

But what? Why? What’s going on?

I didn’t believe

Do I now believe?

What does this mean?

Why did this happen?

I open my eyes and it’s just a cloud

Tickled by sunlight that’s just woken up
