Digging through old stuff.

I want you to be lying

(I hate lying.)

To that slut.

(She doesn't deserve that)

That bitch,

(that either)

I need you to be lying.

(just not to me)

I like you as soon as I met you

(you said that to me too)

Your butt looked nice,

(ditto)

We should find some time to hang out.

(I know what that means)

Is it just sex you seek?

(Why does that make it better?)

Or did you feel something more?

(Do you still?)

Did I stop you in your tracks?

(Was it as simple as that?)

Or will you get better at hiding?

(Will you do it anyways?)

My mind can't stop thinking

(worrying)

My heart can't stop pounding

(worrying)

I liked you as soon as I met you

(I said that to you too)

I meant that.

(Did you?)

Not one of my favorite poems, but I still enjoyed it.
