Girl

I remember you.

Allowed you take the blanket

I never washed.

You're not ugly-

Not pretty either.

I suppose he could do worse.

I suppose you've sat on his couch,

Met his mother-

Submissive.

Met his stepfather-

Young, afraid.

Met his brothers-

Small, disciplined.

You know them.

Know him.

But do you know him

The way I know him?

Have you given yourself

So fully

So helplessly...

I think not.

What lies has he told now?

I kissed him.

No, he kissed me,

His hands sliding where they shouldn't be.

Oh, I wanted him.

I cried, said no...

I hope you enjoy my life.
