1692 Massachusetts was intended on being another short story venture in which I pick one girl from a Salem witch trial and tell her tale. I came up with the idea after writing this poem but never got around to actually springing the series. Hope you like the poem.

"1692 Massachusetts"

Autumn leaves now cover the ground where Julia's blood used to be seen.
A crimson puddle underneath her hanging body.
The boys apparently thought it funny to stab her lifeless corpse.
Six days away from her seventeenth birthday, the village turned on her.
A once respected young woman of Salem, adored by the townspeople.
Tried as an adult, for things she could not begin to understand.
Murdered by man's ignorance. Killed for nothing.
She wasn't a witch, she was an angel.
