"Harmony"

And so there she sits
cursing her beauty
Such a sweet soul
tormented

Day and night she dreams
of revealing the truth
Wishing for the world's acceptance
helplessly

Tired of hiding behind
fake flesh and synthetic locks
Fed up with her prayers
unanswered

Doubting the Lord's existence
fascinated by her own
For if he truly loved her so much
why?

Why this hideous face
scarred and twisted
Why this detestable grin
how?

How could a savior
create something so abominable
How could our father be so
vile?

And so there Harmony sits
in self pity
Sobbing until the tears
disappear

Giving a ghastly grin
to her bedroom mirror
A thought of freedom
embraced

Tired of hiding behind
fake flesh and synthetic locks
The revolver in her drawer
beckons

How could a savior
create something so abominable
She'll find out herself
soon
