An interesting photo opportunity I caught one night turned into a poem. Basically I saw an orange streetlight from an apartment balcony and it's "rays" piercing out of the trees... making it look like a sunrise... thus the poem...

"Sunny Night"

Tonight I saw the sun
No fabrication of my imagination
Cigarette half past done
I recognized an immediate sensation

Pearing out behind the pine trees
Was an orange light providing the illusion
Until a chilled nightly breeze
Awaked me from my observant delusion

I snapped a pic quickly just for fun
Thinking that no one would just believe
Sequestering my newfound golden sun
In hopes to send out for others to receive

For a moment I stood and soaked up it's rays
A brilliant moment embedded in my past
There are better ways to spend your days
Sadly sunny nights seldom last
