A woman in black
Sleek. Flattering. Put together in all the right places
She cares for herself above all
She steals, robs, cheats.
And sells to the highest bidder
Personal gain and satisfaction is her mission
And she won't let anything get in her way
A woman who's quick to seduce
Whether they're a mark or a lover, she doesn't yet know
Are they useful? Both in brains, and in their body?
How much of a hassle would it be to keep them around?
She'll have her fun, for sure
And they'll probably enjoy it too
But when push comes to shove, she'll cut them loose
They don't matter more than her
A woman who loves the thrill of the game
It's dangerous to challenge her, for she kills without pause or hesitation
But she may appreciate you for trying nonetheless
She knows that a pursuer may fall for her charms
And she won't be averse to them turning coat and becoming her minions instead
She has an army of admirers, devotees and lovers,
All ready to serve her, on her terms
Some may find it degrading. For others it's a dream come true
A woman who, above all, wants to win
She cares not for the world, or for the greater good
She wants to outwit her mark, she wants to destroy anyone who gets in her way
And she wants to make it out alive, unscathed, and rich
She has been blamed, rightly so,
For numeous crimes and disasters
Her decisions can just as easily bring the righteous to ruin
As the wicked to their knees
She cares not, as long as she's victorious in the end
Some would consider her a menace who needs to be stopped
Others would do anything for her
Despite,
No,
Because she'll always put herself first
For if the favor of this selfish beauty is so hard to earn
Wouldn't it also taste the most sweet?
