This girl lives in my head.

She has a house, a permanent residence up there.

My jaw drops like an anchor everytime she walks down the street,

her hair waving a taunting hello.

my thoughts get lost in her curves,

and my eyes are found in her state of mind, un-able to stop staring.

her constant flash of peach coloured lips and snow white teeth light up a room like afternoon sunshine,

and blinds me.

I'm not however blind to her flaws because i swear she doesn't have any.

skin that stretches on like desert sand dunes, without a cactus or tumbleweed in sight.

I could go panning for gold in her flecked eyes,

and oh, i would be so rich.

I feel a little of the wealth everytime i look into them.

and yes, i go on, another awestruck lover shot down by some beauty,

but i think she's different.

and i think i could be rich.
