Hey!

Hey!

Hey!

I don't like walking around this old and empty house
So hold my hand, I'll walk with you, my dear
The stairs creak as I  sleep, it's keeping me awake
It's the house telling you to close your eyes

I run over to the side of my loves, as she whispered to me, "I don't like this empty house." She laid in bed as she coughed, her condition as gotten worse.

"Well hold my hand and I will stay by you." I respond, she still hasn't noticed my feelings.

"The stairs creak and it's keeping me awake." She croaked out.

" it's the house  telling you to close you eyes" I sit next to her bed, even if it still wouldn't heal her I don't want her to get to lonely.

And some days I can't even trust myself
It's killing me to see you this way

"Some days I think I am able to see, and see you to, but it's just illusions." She said. Her golden hair fan out around her.

All of this pain is killin me, I want to tell her, but I'm not sure.

'Cause though the truth may vary
This ship will carry our bodies safe to shore

The truth is even if I tell her, her fever could rise, or fall, but her condition it's self, all that emotion will hurt her. I wish we could run from this reality.

Hey!

Hey!

Hey!

There's an old voice in my head that's holding me back
Well tell her that I miss our little talks
Soon it will be over and buried with our past
We used to play outside when we were young
And full of life and full of love.

"There must be something holding me back, like the fear of me seeing again" she scrunched up the blanket with her fist.

"Well tell her I miss our time together." She couldn't see the tears flowing down my cheeks.

"Soon enough when death comes it will be gone, my fears, and dreams." Her thoughts have become  so twisted.

"Do you remember when we would pla outside when we were kids, when we were full of life and love?" I ask.

"Almost, every thing is gone. But yes I remember you as a child." That comment made me blush.

Some days I don't know if I am wrong or right
Your mind is playing tricks on you, my dear
'Cause though the truth may vary
This ship will carry our bodies safe to shore

"Sometimes I wake up from dreams thinking I can see again. I never know if I'm right, if I can actually see "

"Your mind is playing tricks on you," I whisper. Because the truth is seen in different point of views, I wish we could just run away.

Hey!
Don't listen to a word I say
Hey!
The screams all sound the same
Hey!
Though the truth may vary
This ship will carry our bodies safe to shore
Hey!
Hey!

"Did you say something?" Her sweet voice rang.

"No, don't listen to my rambling." My thoughts screamed inside to take her hands, and ask her to marry me but I know I never would have the courage.

You're gone, gone, gone away
I watched you disappear
All that's left is the ghost of you.
Now we're torn, torn, torn apart,
There's nothing we can do
Just let me go we'll meet again soon
Now wait, wait, wait for me
Please hang around
I'll see you when I fall asleep

"I'm glad it was you, Cory." She grabbed my hand, using the other to cough. Her hand was covered in blood she had spat up.

"What do you mean?" I stand up, "Madison! Madison!"

Her body went limp, and her hand dropped out of mine. Tears streamed down my face, as I screamed. I watched her die, did nothing about it, and only the ghost of her remained.

She was token away from me, there's nothing I can do. My first and my last love, I ran to the hall, stealing mothers pills, and ran back to her side.

I put the pills in my mouth, please wait for me, just hang around a little longer, I will see you when I fall asleep. I swallowed the last of them.

Hey!
Don't listen to a word I say
Hey!
The screams all sound the same
Hey!
Though the truth may vary
This ship will carry our bodies safe to shore

Don't listen to a word I say
Hey!
The screams all sound the same
Hey!

Though the truth may vary
This ship will carry our bodies safe to shore

Though the truth may vary
This ship will carry our bodies safe to shore

Though the truth may vary
This ship will carry our bodies safe to shore
