Homeroom: The Sercret Service

I clutch my new book in my hand as I travel up the stairs to my homeroom. In front of me trots my friend, Eric, book also held close. We're proud of our books. This new one of mine especially. Its called: In the President's Sercet Service. I hadn't even opened it yet.

I provide a smile to the teachers as I walk down the hall, an occasional "Good Morning."

Connor drags behind me, begging for me to slow down. I roll my eyes and trott faster to get to my advanced math class.

When Eric and I walk in, I see several kids conversing with my teacher. Some of which, not in her homeroom

I sit down and place my book on the desk. Jimila, another one of my friends, turns around and picks it up. "Whats this?" she asks in her squeky voice. "Read the tiltle." I told her plainly.

She read the tilte aloud and set it back down. "It would so coll to be in the secret service." she commented. I got an idea.

"I'm in the sercet service." I said quietly. Jimila laughed. "I'm going to tell everyone!" She exclaimed.

"No you can't." I objected jokingly. "they'll kill me if you tell." Jimila shrugged and stood up. "Hey everyone, she's in the Sec-...retarial Book club!"

I laughed as she sat down. "Nice save." I told her. "Thank you." she said, smiling from ear to ear. It was quite for a moment. Then Jimila broke the silence. "i was thinking about soemthing." she said.

"What?" i asked wearily. Jimila rambled. "You know how we're on the top floor? You think we could make the people below think there was an earthquake or soemthing if we all jumped up and down?"

I gave her a look. "I thought you were going to say something intelligent." i said. "I'm serious!" she objected.

I rolled my eyes and opened my book. I have starnge friends. Oh. well. Just another day in Homeroom. See you on Monday!
