Bloody Mary
Mirror, mirror, on the wall
Bloody Mary, hear my call
Bloody Mary, hear your name
Bloody Mary, stupid game
Bloody Mary, stupid dare
Bloody Mary, I don’t scare
Bloody Mary, seven more?
Bloody Mary, what a bore
Bloody Mary, I won’t cower
Bloody Mary, you have no power
Bloody Mary, scratch my eyes?
Bloody Mary, urban lies
Bloody Mary, almost done
Bloody Mary, thirteenth one
The only thing that I see,
Is my image staring back at me
But my reflection is so dimly lit
The darkness does strange things to it
Struggling with the lack of light
I begin to see a gruesome sight
A horrid girl with a bloody head
A menacing stare filling me with dread
“This is dumb, it can’t be true.”
“I simply don’t believe in you.”
Her ghostly voice then suddenly came
“I warned you not to speak my name.”
With that I screamed in morbid fright
My girlfriends laughed with such delight
I tried the door and I was shocked
My girlfriends held it tightly locked
The light switch I then groped to find
As Mary started to scratch me blind
“Megan, are you okay in there?”
“You didn’t have to take the dare.”
The girls then opened up the door,
And saw me on the bloody floor
“I didn’t have to; I know it’s true,
But I did and now it’s my turn to dare you.”
