The Silent Scream

Her eyes, they are raging,

Silently, unnoticed, unseen,

No-one at all can hear the cacophony,

Of the silent scream.

Her hands, they are shaking,

Her life, so it seems,

The signal is the silent song,

The unheard, silent scream.

Her tears, they are flowing,

Like a rushing stream,

Carrying on is the never ending wail,

Of the silent scream.

There is a conflict inside of her,

However, no-one seems to see,

Unheard, there is the sound that goes on and on,

The silent, silent, scream.

Yet her face, it still smiles,

It’s like a mask, her ceases to be seen,

Silently droning on and on,

The silent, silent scream

There never seems to be an end,

To the silent scream.

Will there ever be an end,

To the silent scream?
