You can’t find Happiness at the bottom of a bottle
A bottle becomes A bottomless pit
And the Person Drinking out of it,
The person that is searching for relief, with every sip
Well that person will eventually drown
Departing silently out of life without a sound
Because a person that drinks his life away doesn’t leave memories that stay
They fad away
All that they were and could have been
Not remember by a single friend
Because the only friend he kept beside him
Was a bottle, with the elixir to exterminate men
You can’t find happiness at the bottom of a bottle
A bottle becomes A bottomless pit
When you’re offered a hand, take it
Let it guide you out of the hole that you’re in
Try again; the first step is to begin
Do your best to find a way out
To suffer the pain, to go without
Without the drugs, without the drink
Take a look at your life before you sink
