sometimes it's hard to understand

We speak different languages you and I

I speak with the written word

It speaks loud and clear

 What I’m trying to say

What I’m feeling

But,

We speak different languages you and I

You speak with actions

It screams loud and clear

What you’re trying to say

What you’re feeling

But,

We speak different languages you and I

And even though we love each other immensely

Sometimes it hard to read the intensity

Sometimes we feel a little disconnected

Sometimes what we mean is read incorrectly

Sometimes feeling get hurt

Sometimes to become unhurt

Real words need to be said to fix and mend

We need to learn to bend

To understand it’s ok to not always know

As long as we can find a way to show

We speak different languages you and I.
