The Army of the Irish Sun

Bright green candle light
Waves its magic through the night
And, all the masters of thought and might
Go to a place beyond our sight

Soldiers of certain doom
Raid our legendary tombs
To defile the peacefulness that looms
The candle is out, the dead wake soon

The devils dance and have their fun
We weigh our sorrows b the ton
Our once-dead heroes rise as one
To deliver the wrath of the Irish Sun

The claymores rip apart their souls
The devils run to find their holes
As the reaper comes to take his tolls
And, the candle is lit as the thunder rolls

Green blades, striking fast
Unleashing fury from the past
By the time the day's last shadow is cast
All the devils are gone at last

The devils are gone, the heroes are done
But, they linger to hear the songs that are sung
Of our once dead heroes that rose as one
The Army of the Irish Sun
